About Kültürpark İzmir

Kültürpark İzmir is one of the largest, most deep-rooted, and iconic green areas of the city, located in the Konak district (Mimar Sinan Neighborhood, Şair Eşref Blv. No:50), considered the heart of İzmir. Established in 1936 and hosting the İzmir International Fair (İEF), Turkey's first and most deep-rooted fair every year, this massive area is also the epicenter of İzmir's cultural and social life.

Housing the Atatürk Open Air Theatre, İsmet İnönü Art Center, Celal Atik Sports Hall, fair halls, art galleries, and a massive natural habitat within it, Kültürpark sets the stage for large-scale open-air concerts, theatre plays, book fairs, thematic festivals, and exhibitions throughout the year. It is both a breathing point for the people of İzmir who want to spend time intertwined with nature and one of Turkey's largest open-air event areas.

How to Get to Kültürpark İzmir?

Since it is located right in the center of the city and has different entrance gates on all four sides (Lozan, Montrö, 9 Eylül/Basmane, 26 Ağustos, Kahramanlar), the transportation network is extremely rich and comfortable.

By Public Transportation:

• Metro: It is the most practical and fastest way. When you get off at the Basmane station using the İzmir Metro, you can reach the 9 Eylül Gate of Kültürpark with just a few steps of walking.
• Tram: You can get off at the Kültürpark - Atatürk Lisesi stop using the Konak Tram (T2) line and enter through the Montrö or Lozan gates with a short walk.
• Bus / İZBAN: If you are coming with İZBAN, you can transfer to the metro at the Hilal or Halkapınar stations and proceed to Basmane. Also, the stops around the area can be easily reached by numerous ESHOT buses departing from all over the city and going towards the Basmane, Montrö, or Çankaya direction.

By Private Vehicle:

• You can easily reach the surroundings of Kültürpark by following Şair Eşref Boulevard, Gazi Boulevard, or Mürselpaşa Boulevard from the city center with your private vehicle.
• You can safely leave your vehicle at the multi-story underground parking lot located at the Kahramanlar Gate of Kültürpark or the İZELMAN paid parking areas around the area.
