Cello Republic will meet their fans on June 26 at the Istanbul Atatürk Cultural Center Türk Telekom Opera Hall.
Cello Republic is an ensemble of four cellists. After completing their studies at some of the world’s leading music academies and performing in major classical venues, they realized something was missing from their concerts: humor.
Although they come from completely different backgrounds and have distinct personalities — two concertmasters of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, a crossover star, and a conservatory professor — they came together to present music as something modern, vibrant, and as essential as breathing.
The group sets aside the rigid seriousness of traditional classical institutions and breaks down the barriers between stage and audience. With their concert concept titled “No Limits,” they push the technical boundaries of the cello while interpreting and narrating music in the format of a stand-up comedy show, connecting it with stories and anecdotes from everyday life. As a result, their performances appeal to both general audiences and classical music enthusiasts alike.
Even though the original lineup of the Prague Cello Quartet disbanded, Cello Republic continues to uphold their artistic vision — performing high-quality music with detailed original arrangements and a healthy dose of humor. Like a Phoenix, the ensemble was reborn in 2022 from the “ashes” of their previous group. In the Czech Republic and abroad, they are recognized for their impressive arrangements across genres, music videos, and a three-album discography.
Under their new name, Cello Republic, they have released their fourth album, FREEDOM — a reflection on more than a decade of shared musical journey and a glimpse into their future artistic direction.

This event has a minimum age limit of 5 years.
No outside food or beverages are allowed.
Everyone entering the concert venue must have a ticket.
The concert will take place regardless of weather conditions. Tickets are non-refundable.
Professional audio and video recording equipment (video cameras and cameras) as well as selfie sticks and GoPro poles are not allowed inside the venue.
Audio and video recording will be made by the organizer during the concert. By purchasing a ticket and entering the venue, attendees consent to being recorded.
Ticket holders agree to all security measures determined by the organizer and security staff, including bag and body checks. Attendees who do not comply will be denied entry without a refund. The organizer may request identification to verify age.
Attendees grant the organizer the right to use any photographs and videos taken during the concert for promotional purposes.
It is prohibited to bring any flammable, explosive, reflective, sharp or piercing objects, or laser pointers into the concert venue.
Sound systems at the venue may cause temporary hearing problems.
Lighting effects at the venue may cause temporary eye discomfort.
Please keep your ticket for the duration of the concert.
Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings inside the concert venue.
Pets are not allowed inside the concert area.
Tickets must only be purchased from official sales points designated by the organizer. The organizer reserves the right to remove individuals with tickets purchased from unofficial sources from the venue.
