Foreing Affair: International Social Mixer

Foreign Affair is an international social mixer bringing together people from around the world for a Friday night of music, conversation, and new connections at Yabangee Base. Whether you're new to Istanbul, have called the city home for years, or are simply looking to expand your social circle, the evening is open to anyone who wants to meet people in a relaxed and international setting.

Throughout the night, a DJ performance will provide the soundtrack while simple networking activities help make introductions a little easier. There’s no complicated format or packed schedule: come with friends or on your own, grab a drink, meet people from different backgrounds, and settle in for the evening.

Yabangee Base is the home of Yabangee, an independent community platform that has spent over a decade helping people connect in İstanbul. Designed as an affordable, welcoming space, it hosts everything from pub quizzes and live music to language exchanges, workshops, board game nights, and community gatherings. Whether you're new to the city, a long-time resident, Turkish or international, Yabangee Base exists to make meeting people feel a little easier.
