About Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Sports Facilities
The Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University Sports Facilities are a comprehensive complex located in the 2000 Evler Neighborhood of Nevşehir's central district (on Zübeyde Hanım Avenue), catering to the sports and event needs of the university and the city. These facilities have the capacity to host not only academic sports activities but also large-scale social, cultural, and entertainment events (E.g.: Concerts, mass shows).
At the heart of the facility is a multi-purpose sports hall with a spectator capacity of 1500 people. This hall can be divided into three sections by divider curtains, serving as an ideal center for sports branches like volleyball, basketball, and handball, as well as for performing arts and events requiring a large area. The complex also houses fitness, yoga, pilates, dance, squash, and martial arts halls; a Finnish bath and sauna; and outdoor tennis courts, basketball, and volleyball courts. As one of Nevşehir's best-equipped indoor venues, it is an important attraction point for major city events.
