Karga Kadıköy is located in Kadıköy, Caferağa Neighborhood, on the famous Kadife Street (Bars Street) No:16, as one of the most deep-rooted and cult venues of Istanbul nightlife. Serving in a historic wooden mansion, the venue offers a mystical atmosphere to its guests with its unique gothic architecture, dim lights, fireplace which is indispensable in winter months, and labyrinth-like rooms.

Beyond being just a bar, it also functions as a culture and art center with the KargART stage within its structure. Alternative music concerts, DJ performances, film screenings, and exhibitions are regularly held here. Having a wide musical range from electronic music to rock, from experimental sounds to ambient genres, Karga is one of the escape points that best reflects the spirit of Kadıköy.

How to Get to Karga Kadıköy?

Located on Kadife Street, the liveliest street in Kadıköy, the venue is very easy to access.

By Public Transportation:

  • Ferry/Motorboat: After arriving at the Kadıköy Pier from the European Side, you can reach Kadife Street by walking up from Rıhtım Avenue or towards the Bahariye direction (approximately 10 minutes).
  • Metro: Access can be provided by getting off at the Kadıköy station of the M4 Kadıköy-Sabiha Gökçen Airport line and walking from the Bull Statue or Rıhtım direction.
  • Tram: You can get off at Damga Sokak or İskele Camii stops with the T3 Kadıköy-Moda Nostalgic Tram line and walk.
  • Metrobüs/Marmaray: After getting off at the Söğütlüçeşme stop, you can reach the Bars Street with an approximately 15-20 minute walk or a short taxi ride.

By Private Vehicle:

  • The venue is in an area where pedestrian-only zones are dense and parking is difficult.
  • It is recommended to leave your vehicle at the İSPARK areas at Kadıköy Rıhtım, parking lots around the old Rexx Cinema, or paid areas in the Moda direction and walk.
