
Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre is an open air venue in Istanbul that hosts concerts, theatre plays, and various shows.
Known by its old name Harbiye Open Air Theatre, the zoning plan of the venue began in the 1930s. Its foundation was laid in July 1946, and its construction was completed and delivered in 1950. In 1958, it took its current name, given after Cemil Topuzlu, the former mayor of Istanbul.
Hosting various concerts and plays, the open air theatre carries great cultural importance. The Open Air Theatre has an audience capacity of approximately 4,500 people. In the middle of the grandstands, there is also a projection area used when a film or slide show is screened.
