The Istanbul Festival brings two powerhouse names to the same stage at Festival Park Yenikapı on August 16: Hadise, one of the most beloved voices in Turkish pop, and Argy, the most distinctive and enigmatic sound in melodic techno. One night, two separate performances, two different musical worlds.
Opening the night, Hadise brings her signature energy to the festival with her powerful vocals, magnetic stage presence, and years of hit songs. Alongside career-defining classics like "Aşk Kaç Beden Giyer," "Düm Tek Tek," and "Sıfır Tolerans," she'll also perform recent tracks like "Küçük Bir Yol," "İmdat," and "Feryat" — each racking up tens of millions of streams — turning Yenikapı into a wall-to-wall dance floor. Bringing the full exuberance of pop to the stage, her set will be an unforgettable opening that sets the tone for the night.
Taking over the stage next, Argy carries the evening into an entirely different dimension with the hypnotic depth of electronic music. Born in Rhodes and raised in London and Berlin, the Greek artist is one of the most respected names on the global electronic scene, thanks to a signature style forged over more than two decades in the underground club world. His post-pandemic release "Ketuvim" marked a genuine turning point; then "Tataki," released on the Afterlife label, became a viral phenomenon that announced the start of a new era. His 2024 album "New World" reached hundreds of millions of streams while the tracks "Aria" and "Sierra" earned gold certification — works that carried Argy beyond a single genre and placed him at the top of the world's most prestigious festivals, from Tomorrowland to EDC.
With hypnotic rhythms, cinematic depth, and a mystical visual identity, Argy turns every performance into a ritual, transforming the stage from a mere concert space into a shared spiritual experience. On this special night shaped by a high-production vision, every detail — from the grand stage design to the lighting, from the audiovisual universe to the rawest energy of electronic music — comes together for a one-of-a-kind experience.
